The regular meeting for the Porter County Plan Commission will be heard on Wednesday, the 27th of September 2023, at 5:30pm, in the Porter County Administrative Center, 155 Indiana Avenue, Suite 205, Valparaiso, Indiana.
UPDATE: In addition to the plan commission’s regular meeting agenda, it was the intent of the Plan Commission to hear from the solar sub-committee on a proposed solar ordinance. The discussion was to be on zoning districts allowed, density and separation regulations from residential zoning and non-participating parcels. All discussions were to be on the proposed solar ordinance.
However, there has been a recent staff change within the Plan Commission necessitating the postponement of this discussion until further notice. This announcement will be updated when additional information or new meeting date becomes available.
