NEWLY Renovated in 2019! Exceptional events happen here because the Porter County Expo has over 30 years of experience in planning wedding receptions, business & corporate events, non-profit fundraisers and trade shows, fairs and exhibits.
Built in 1893 as a memorial to Civil War veterans, the Memorial Opera House is a historic landmark. In it's early days, the Opera House was a gathering place for community meetings and political rallies, as well as minstrel shows, vaudeville, and concerts. The early luminaries who visited the Opera House included Theodore Roosevelt, William Jennings Bryan, the Marx Brothers and John Phillip Souza. Now, you can hold your next event at one of the most iconic venues in the midwest!
From small, intimate parties to weddings to large-scale community events, rental facilities at Porter County Parks offer a variety of choices for your special events.
