The Development Review Committee is, as its name implies, a review committee, and is a working branch of the Plan Commission. The committee reviews a variety of projects, including new subdivisions, both primary and secondary plats, new commercial buildings or additions and new industrial buildings or additions. They review proposed drainage plans and other infrastructure improvements, along with ascertaining that the local ordinance requirements are being met.
There are filing deadlines that must be met in order to be heard by this committee. Please call the Department of Development & Storm Water office for more information.

While the public is welcome to attend Development Review Committee meetings, it should be remembered that they are charged with reviewing the technical aspects of a project, and it is not a public hearing and the public will not be invited to speak.
